Weekend Writing Warriors #104


Hi and welcome to this week's eight sentences. 
I'm sharing eight from 'Dancing for the Boys' enjoy!:                                           

Was he even there at the beginning of her routine? Tanya pulled away the damp costume and showered, washing away her exaggerated make up and the hair spray clinging to her curls. When she stood, wrapped warmly in a large bath sheet, there was a knock on the door. With a disgruntled sigh she opened it. He stood before her in his perfectly pressed charcoal suit wearing a shirt of the palest blue, his dark hair smooth and his blue eyes piercing.

“I am sorry to disturb you.” he said, just a faint hint of accent on his baritone voice.
Nobody was allowed down the corridor, the girls had security in place. How had he managed to approach her?

  4. OHHHHHHH! How did he manage? And why did he come? Great snippet and quite the cliffhanger;).

  5. Hmmm...and the plot thickens. Great writing, Gemma. It was easy to visualize the scene. Nicely done!
