My Snippet:
Miranda told him
of the pool with its beautiful azure flooring and the pretty chairs decorating
the edge.
“Sounds
perfect,” Jamie said when she’d finished, “Wish l had a pool to go home too.”
Miranda eyed him
carefully. Jamie was a former pupil and still danced the quarterly supadances
whenever they were local.
“Why don’t you
come round?” she asked casually, “You’re free to use the pool if you like.”
“Seriously
Miranda? You don’t mind?” said Jamie grinning broadly and flashing those teeth.

ReplyDeleteMight as well be friendly, right? Or, you know, whatever else makes them happy.
ReplyDeleteYou've got me wondering what a supadance is. I Googled it, but the search only brought up the name of a shoe manufacturer.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I can see where this is probably going! I did like that she thought it over first, nice touch.
ReplyDeleteHaha! @Charmaine's comment. :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Veronica. No reckless abandon there. She's thinking this through. Nicely done, Gemma!
