Weekend Writing Warriors #120

Hi and welcome to this week's eight sentences.
Here's the next eight from 'Dancing for the Boys' enjoy!:
   MY EIGHT

Tanya flipped the right way up again, swinging and stretching, twisting and turning her body to show off its flexibility. As the track slowed Tanya slid down again and as it ended she stretched beneath it bowing her head. The music stopped and her audience clapped furiously. For a moment Tanya kept perfectly still, she needed to wind down before she could move; she needed to come back from the dark, decadent place where only the pole and her body existed. Finally she raised her head and saw James. His eyes were hot and hungry. Tanya knew she had surpassed all his expectations. This dance was personal.

Who doesn’t love to dance? Who doesn’t love to tease the men watching, willing them to notice and lust after your body? What would you do if you were given the chance to perform before a group of appreciative gentlemen for a large amount of money? The latest release from the pen of Gemma Parkes combines two stories of exotic dancing and what it means to two women when they truly perform.
