Weekend Writing Warriors #93

    Hi and welcome to this week's Eight sentences. Today I am continuing with my seasonal anthology 'Christmas Delights' this story is called 'The Naughty Box' enjoy!:                                              

                 MY EIGHT:

With that he was out of the door before Clare even had time to close her mouth, which was still gaping open in surprise.
She had to hand it to Jake, the man was resourceful.
By the time Jake returned Clare was coming round to the idea and was rummaging through the wrapping paper looking for other things to play with.
“I got Silver.” Jake said holding a really long garland out in font of him, “l thought that it would contrast nicely with your golden hair.”
He held it against Clare’s tumbling locks and smiled broadly at the pleasing effect.
“I have something for you too!” Clare exclaimed not wanting to be outdone.
