Weekend Writing Warriors #90

Hi and welcome to this week's Eight sentences. Today I am sharing eight from a  story I wrote for inclusion in my 'Fevered Kisses anthology. My story is called 'Anytime, Anyplace':

                                                              MY EIGHT:

I rose and caught sight of myself in the mirror. A bubble babe, that’s what Sean called me. I had no hope of removing the knowing smile from my lips.

Once dry l padded across the floor to the bedroom and pulled my satin robe around me, taking time to smell its smooth fabric, last nights perfume but no scent of Sean.

Only the pillows carried his scent, the deep aroma of whatever aftershave he had chosen to wear. I needed to smell him now. I needed to feel him…

The phone rang and l jumped.

  11. First off, I love the term 'bubble babe'. This is a lovely, steamy scene. However, I noticed there's a Shaun and a Sean. Two different people or a typo? lol

  12. Sounds like morning after glow but where is he? Let's hope that phone call isn't bad news. And I'm curious like Evelyn, typo or 2 people?
