            Hi and welcome to this week's Eight sentences. Today I am continuing with eight from my new release, 'Fevered Kisses' an anthology of lust. This week I am continuing with the second story 'Too Darn Hot' carrying on from where we left off last time:

Jamie looked around at the obvious affluence. He wondered for the first time whether or not she lived here alone. A temptation came over him to follow Miranda, the sun always made him horny and he was sure the invitation wasn’t only to swim. Instead he went out to the pool house and found several pairs of swim shorts in a variety of styles and colours. As he held up a navy pair he wondered how many men Miranda brought here.

When he was ready he climbed straight in to the pool swimming two lengths quickly in an attempt to cool himself down. Miranda watched him for a moment from an upstairs window. He was a sight to behold, those broad shoulders and strong arms cutting through the water while his long legs stretched out behind him.

Standing proudly to one side was a small sandstone terrace which donned pretty tables and summer chairs.

“Can l get you a drink of something?” Miranda asked, swinging open a large fridge door.

“Yes please, something cold would be great.” Jamie replied.

Miranda reached inside and emerged with a couple of bottles of beer removing the tops with a twist from a bottle opener before pouring them carefully into smooth glasses.

“I’m going to get changed,” she said before adding, “There are some spare shorts in the pool house if you want to swim.”

Then she left.

“I and my staff have already done fairly thorough background checks on all the museum employees,” Ted said.

“Oh.” Kara scowled. “I’m not sure I like that.”

“But you expected it?”

“Of course. At some point.”

“I believe in being efficient. Even before certain added incentives.”

“I can always change my mind. I don’t know a thing about you.”

“You know enough. I have large hands.” Ted chuckled when she winced. “I’ve worked for the Upper Midwest Arts Council for five years.”

“And before that?”

“I was a Chicago cop.”

“Oh.”

“I went into the army right out of high school and completed my BA degree at U.I.C. while on the force. Funny, isn’t it? While you were working on your MA at the University of Chicago, I was patrolling the streets of Hyde Park and South Chicago.”

“Really?”

“That’s right.”

“Maybe we bumped into each other.”

“I highly doubt that. I wouldn’t forget bumping into you. Remember?”

“Oh, right.” Kara’s flush returned.

Planning a heist

Our latest release, The Heist, got its start on a rainy Monday a while back, when hubs and I attended a behind-the-scenes tour at our small Iowa town’s exquisite art museum. A new exhibit was about to open, and we were treated to detailed descriptions of the process of locating and ordering traveling exhibits, shipping them, storing them, uncrating them, hanging them, insuring their safety, and repacking them.

You must know by now that hubs is a criminologist  by profession. It didn’t take us long to be looking for vulnerable spots in the museum’s process, and by the end of the day, with a little internet research on the high stakes world of stolen paintings, we had our basic plot sketched out.

Our next problem was—what painting should be stolen? Clearly, we couldn’t go with an existing well-known piece of art. We opted to create The Three Maids, an entirely fictional trio of medium sized Impressionist portraits, based on what we knew about Monet, Manet, Renoir, Caillebotte, and the women they painted. We’ve put so much detail into the paintings’ descriptions that I keep expecting to see them when I enter an Impressionist display. If no one has painted them yet, I definitely think someone should!

I’ll leave the details of how the actual heist was planned, carried out, and (we hope) foiled for readers to discover—we hope you enjoy reading The Heist as much as we enjoyed creating it!

A Wicked Game - Hidden away

Hidden away from view on Amazon's naughty list is one of the best stories I've ever written.
A Wicked Game is a fast paced intriguing sexual thriller whose only crime is that it features very hot sex between a college lecturer and a 20 year old student. Taboo? Hardly, but who knows what goes on in the minds of the decision makers. It saddens me that this book is so hard to find, I even changed the cover from the one you see here to something less...naked!
So what's it all about?
A clandestine encounter between lecturers at Keywood upper college campus is witnessed by second year psychology student Lucinda White. Determined to make the most of this opportunity Lucinda embarks on a little blackmail, convincing senior lecturer Mr. Peter Caine that she will keep quiet about her discovery in exchange for a series of after college tuition.
Peter, bemused and flattered by the attention she pays him and worried about the power she holds over him, then embarks on a dangerous liaison with Lucinda. Peter finds himself drawn to the student as she teases and entices him, playing games with his desire.
As their illicit relationship deepens however, Peter’s long time girlfriend and fellow lecturer, Miss. Amy Price becomes increasingly suspicious. Annoyed by the attention her partner is paying to Lucinda, Amy becomes determined to uncover the truth. 
Peter and Amy’s world is turned upside down as Lucinda’s demands increase in their intensity.
But what does Lucinda really want? Is there more to this enigmatic girl than meets the eye?
‘A Wicked Game’ is a story of sexual desire and intrigue. Follow it through its many twists and turns until the story reaches its final climax.

Peter Caine walked away from Lucinda leaving her semi-naked and breathless on his desk. He sat himself down in the larger of the two chairs and rested his chin on two pointed fingers.

Lucinda sat up to look at him.

“Is that it?” she asked.

“I think that’s enough for today Lucinda,” Peter spoke carefully; “You can come again tomorrow if you’d like to.”

Lucinda stared at him in disbelief for a few moments. Finally she decided he was serious and reluctantly she slid off the desk and retrieved her clothing.

“That’s not how it was with Amy.” she grumbled.

“You said that you wanted to learn Lucinda,” Peter spoke, “l intend teaching you the art of abstinence and patience.”

“I don’t want to learn those things,” she practically yelled at his supercilious face, “l wanted you to show me how to have sex properly.”

Peter stood up and walked towards her; he lifted her chin with his fingers and looked directly into her eyes.

“To truly make love Lucinda, you need patience, you need self control. It is not about the quick fix.”

“But what about Amy?” Lucinda pouted.

“Miss. Price and I are part-time lovers; we know we can take things slowly when we want to. What you saw today was not usual for us; we just needed some…relief.”

“Well l need relief now.” Lucinda touched his arm, “Couldn’t we be patient tomorrow instead?”

He was tempted, sorely tempted, his cock stretched under his trousers urging him to relieve the pressure building inside it, but Peter stuck to his resolve.

“No Lucinda, to have sex now, and that’s all that we would be doing, would spoil everything you are trying to achieve. You need to learn to walk before you can run properly. Go home and practise breathing slowly to calm yourself. Tomorrow l will give you some exercises to improve your sexual stamina.”

Lucinda pouted, but she could tell that Peter was serious. For a moment she wished she had just seduced him to get what she desired, but for now she would have to bide her time.

Miranda’s home was around 25 minutes away and Jamie was obviously impressed as they drove up the sweeping private road to park on the gravel in front.

“Wow!” was all he could say.

Elderberry cottage stood in the most beautiful grounds. The gardens were ornate and heavy with carefully nurtured shrubs, many in flower. The house was a whitewashed Tudor home with stark black paintwork and a thatched roof, one wall was completely covered in wisteria flowers; it was a delight to behold. Excitedly Jamie climbed out of the car and was thrilled to see, at the side of the house, a tennis court slightly obscured from view by a wall of carefully pruned conifers.

Miranda led him through to the kitchen; from here the pool could clearly be seen, it was a rich blue oasis which reflected the sun’s rays along its gentle ripples.

Perhaps he’d had a change of heart, she thought, maybe the age difference was bothering him after all.

“Maybe Susie could drop me off when she’s finished cleaning the tables.” Jamie offered looking across the room to the busy Susie and reassuring Miranda at the same time about his apparent eagerness to come.

“I’ll give you a lift,” Miranda stated, “If you want one, of course?”

Another flash of those white teeth and Miranda found herself wondering momentarily what he would be like to kiss.

“Thank you Miranda!” Jamie beamed, “I’ll just put the cash in the safe then I’m ready!”

Outside the heat burned into them as they walked through the blanket of humidity to Miranda’s gleaming Mercedes.
