Valves & Vixens is a multi-author steampunk erotica anthology. It's now available in both ebook and print format and published by House of Erotica. I was so happy to edit this book as steampunk is a genre that I love.

Why Steampunk I hear you ask?

Well Steampunk is something that has been around for many years and in fact far longer than many would suspect. It's a genre as much as it's a concept and a way of re-imagining the world. It is very often linked quite strongly with science fiction and by many is considered to be a sub-genre.

Steampunk is very closely linked to the Victorian era due to the prevalence of steam and the use of clockwork. Most stories tend to be focused on the Western World particularly the United Kingdom but I'm glad to say that in the Valves & Vixens we have stories that spread out a little further.

Steampunk stories usually contain elements of technology made from clockwork and or steam as well as methods of transport such as the airship. The stories of steampunk primarily tend to be in an alternative history that mirrors ours closely but tends to never veer too far away from the Victorian era.

Steampunk type films that are well worth a look include: Wild Wild West for it's Wild West Steampunk spin, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Time Machine, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Journey to the Centre of the Earth.
