Flash Fiction Friday #38

Good morning everyone and welcome to this week's Flash Fiction Friday. Every week a group of us writers are given the same picture to write about. The challenge is to write it using only 100 words.
This week's picture was the hardest l've had to do, but here goes!:

REUNION

Max started to unwrap the lover he had not seen for two years. Although completely defrosted the film still stuck to his body. Max removed it piece by delicious piece kissing the firm unspoilt skin beneath.
"It's been so long David." he murmered.
Two years ago and 18 months into a wonderful relationship, David had been diagnosed with a deadly skin disease. Together they scraped the money to visit a young pioneering Doctor in Switzerland.
David had been coated, wrapped in cling film and frozen.
Two lonely years later and Max was able to release David.
"Thank you Doctor." he cried.

That was indeed a challenge! Thank you for stopping by, please leave me a comment and click on the link below to visit the other participants.
Have a great weekend!

  2. Gemma, that was beautiful. I can't say that I understand it, but I feel it which is more important. It does make me want to read more, however. Does he breathe life again, to live, love and embrace his lover? Beautiful and so well done:) xo
