Hello everyone and welcome to another six sentence Sunday. This week l'm still moving on with my contribution (Scarlet) to the yellow silk dreams anthology which should be released within the next few days:
By the time the meal had ended and the guests were
being ushered into another room set out for their
entertainment with rows of chairs facing a wooden platform, the two men
were desperate to make her acquaintance.
They approached her together as she stood by a large
fire place pretending to admire a colourless painting of a horse with no tail. Katy
had not favoured one man over the other so they were hoping that her intentions
would become clearer as they all talked. Whichever one she seemed least
attracted to would then be able to make a subtle departure.
However Katy, feeling the power of keeping them both
hanging onto her every word and movement was enjoying the game too much to let
either of them go just yet. They sat together, one man on each side of her forcing
Ellie to sit behind much to her annoyance.
Oh dear, trouble's a brewing!
Thank you so much for stopping by, please leave a comment to let me know what you think l really do appreciate it. To visit more Sunday sentences please click on the above banner which will take you to many talented writers blogs.

Well, she'll just have to take them both. ;) Nice six!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Gemma!
ReplyDeleteShe's a tricky one, withholding her preference like that :)
ReplyDeleteWell it's nice to be sought after. Looks like Katy has some choosing (or not) to do. Very erotic setting for this anthology. I can't wait to read.
ReplyDeleteGreat six!
ReplyDeleteShe's playing with fire! :)
ReplyDeleteLady..you rock the words right into detailed images in my mind!
ReplyDeleteI sense that maybe she won't have to choose. ;) Fabulous six!
ReplyDeleteDecided to postpone making up her mind, huh.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your blog format on my machine is not working--right end of every line is lost in the red background.
Looking forward to her next reaction to them!! So much fun!!
ReplyDeleteI bet she'll choose them both! :D
ReplyDeleteMaking her annoyed probably isn't the best thing for them to do! They may just have to share... :)
ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like she's in for an interesting time, not the least of which might involve the friend she's ignoring. Good luck with your release. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd say she's in just the right place :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't blame her lol
ReplyDeleteHmm, which one to choose? Why choose - take them both! Congrats on the antho!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of having two men fighting over me. I always wished it was Tom Selleck and Sam Elliott and they BOTH WON! Looking forward to more. Yeah...and the formatting was screwed up here, too, but I was still able to read the final words in each line. :)
ReplyDeleteAn interesting setup for something no doubt even more interesting... and I'm amused by the 'colorless painting of a horse with no tail.' It can't be that fascinating...
ReplyDeleteGreat six!
