What does Easter mean to you?
Is it a time to remember and reflect on your religious roots?
Is it a time to spend with family and friends?
Is it just a time to relax and an excuse to eat as much chocolate as you can?
Whatever Easter means to you l hope you enjoy this very special time of year. For me it is a mixture of all of the above. Easter is Springtime and daffodils, new beginnings and new life. I will be resting at home with my family, trying to avoid the same old films that are wheeled out every year. If the weather is good l may take a walk in the sunshine, if not l will stay indoors, read a little, write a little and maybe play a few games on the Wii.

I like to start my day by getting up early and drinking a great cup of coffee before my 4 year old wakes up. It gives me time to reflect and read a few chapters of a book. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Easter.

A perfect date? It would entail a deserted beach with a bonfire and a sunset with some wine and my man!
I'd like to start my day with kisses to wake me and coffee and hot cinnamon rolls in bed. As for a perfect date, it would involve time alone with my lover while the kids are with the grandparents - for a week. ;)

I would like to start the day by waking up to my bed covered with $100.00 dollar bills everywhere. I have a kingsize bed. You asked and that was popped into my head, of couse than Karma would kick me by taking my health or something. So maybe I should change that to just being happy to be awake and breathing. Happy easter.

I love to start my day with my husband bringing me coffee and sticking his tongue into my ear to whisper, "Wake up! The kids are all asleep and I've got something for you!" Grin. I also like to lie there stretching, since I work multiple jobs and usually have to leap out of bed when the alarm goes off.
ReplyDeleteAnd being a bit unconventional, my idea of a favorite date involves hot spicy food with cold beer, then shooting pool at our favorite biker bar, and hopefully the bar band is a good one that night!

I love to start my day with a long lie in bed, stretching, since I work multiple jobs and usually have to leap up when the alarm goes off. Then I like my husband to bring me a cup of coffee, then stick his tongue into my ear to whisper, "The kids are all still asleep and I have something for you!"
ReplyDeleteBeing unconventional, my idea of a great date is we go out to eat something spicy, then shoot pool at the local biker bar, and the bar band is good that night.
I would like to start the day not wanting to back to sleep, which is pretty much impossible. I love sleep too much. =)
